Entered in the world of fashion when she was just a teenager; now a supermodel, she’s worked with almost every top designer and brand in Pakistan. Alyzeh Gabol is a model-turned-actress who recently did a cameo appearance in 2017’s flick ‘Rangreza’ opposite Bilal Ashraf. Gabol always knew that she wanted to be a model and had her first portfolio when she was almost 17. Her career kicked off from that point and she started to get several offers from famous brands. Till now, she has been the face of Sunsilk, Sana Safinaz, Ethnic, Bareeze etcetera. She has walked at several fashion shows like PFDC Loreal Paris Bridal Couture Week and FPW for designers like HSY, Adnan Pardesy, Tabya Official, Farah & Fatima and many others. Also, she has done modelling for Republic Women’s Wear, Saadia Mirza, Zaheer Abbas, Maria B. and HSY, to name a few. In 2-17, Alyzeh Gabol was also nominated at the first IPPA Awards in the category of Best Model. She has been the cover girl for top fashion magazines and has worked with a number of famous photographers including Abdullah Haris, Akif Ilyas, Athar Shehzad and Kashif Rashid. Is acting your passion, a hobby or just a way to earn a living?

Acting is not a hobby for me or even just a way to earn a living. Acting has so much depth and emotions in it and I would love myself to dive more into it in the near future.

What do you usually wear in daily life?

Jeans and a tee.

I love Balmain, Zara, Dior and Chanel.

Your favourite international actor and model:

Bella Hadid and Ranbir Kapoor.

Your favourite Pakistani celebrity:

Mahira Khan.

How do you deal with your male fans?

With love and respect.

Your most irritating habit:

Staying up all night watching Netflix and sleeping in the morning.

Are you a shopaholic?

Oh, absolutely! I shop a lot when I am travelling, or when I am home. I do a lot of online shopping as well.

What bores you the most?

Boring company.

When feeling low you prefer:

I prefer to spend time with my daughter cuddled up in bed watching my favourite TV shows.

You are crazy about...

Travelling and discovering new cities and countries.

Among your friends you are known as...

A late comer, I am never on time.

Your favourite designers:

I find all Pakistani designers very talented but I prefer to wear HSY and Ali Xeeshan the most.

Your idea of romance:

A good connection and nicely arranged candle light dinner.

Are you a social person or a loner?

It all depends on my mood. If I want to be alone, I lock myself in my room and have some much needed me-time, but otherwise I am a very social person.

How do you like to spend your Sundays?

Models don’t get Sundays off! Haha, but If I am not working on a Sunday, I chill at home or go for dinner with friends.

In your childhood, were you a bright student?

Yes, I was a topper! I still have my trophies from when I stood 1st or 2nd in school.

Your favourite hangout:

Love ordering food at home and chilling with friends.

Something very few people know about you as a person...

I am not arrogant or rude; I am actually a very friendly person.

Your ultimate desire...

To do a shoot with worldwide renowned photographer, Mario Testino.

What do you like the most about your job?

The love I get from people. It’s not an easy job and to earn that admiration from my fans means the world to me.

The best gift you have ever received?

My daughter, Miraal, is the best gift I have received in this world. Nothing compares that.

What would be your advice to someone who wants to be in showbiz?

You have to work hard constantly to establish your name. Don’t let anyone criticise you, have faith in yourself and fall completely in love with your work.

If you weren’t doing what you are doing today, you would be...

I would want to establish myself as a filmmaker since I have studied filmmaking.
