Did you know that seafood represents a solid part of Italian cuisine? And if you want to prepare fish the authentic Italian way, then you are in luck as this week, You! has collaborated with Chef de cuisine Tanveer of La Mamma restaurant, Movenpick Hotel, Karachi, who shares his special recipe of ‘Filetto do Salmone’. I N G R E D I E N T SFiletto do Salmone

Salmon fillet   160 gms

Mix herbs       10 gms

Olive oil         10 ml

White pepper  2 gms

Lemon juice    2 tsps

Salt    2 gms

Potato puree  120 gms

Butter 10 gms

Spinach         120 gms

Cherry tomato          10 gmse

M E T H O D

  • Marinate salmon with olive oil, salt, mix herbs, pepper and lemon juice.
  • On a grill pan, put the salmon skin side down and grill till the fish is cooked.
  • Now prepare the mashed potatoes by mixing potato puree, butter, salt and pepper.
  • In a pan saute the spinach leaf for two minutes.
  • In a platter, place the spinach leaf and add some mashed potatoes on it.
  • Then place the grilled salmon over the potatoes, garnish with cherry tomato and serve with dill sauce.
