Everyone has different preference when it comes to movies. Some prefer watching romance, humour, rom-coms, musicals etc. Then there are those who can trade anything to watch an action movie that is all about car chases, gunfights and explosions. The fact is that in action movies things are upsized to the max for the sake of enjoyment, which looks absolutely amazing on the big screen.
So, when we got the invite for the premiere of one of the most awaited films from the popular ‘Fast and the Furious’ franchise in Karachi, we were more than excited to see what the eighth instalment ‘The Fate of the Furious’ had in store for us.
The movie is directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Chris Morgan and the stars include Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Kurt Russell, Scott Eastwood, Charlize Theron, Elsa Pataky and Helen Mirren. The plot of the movie revolves around how the whole team is trying to lead normal crime free lives; however it is Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) that gets into trouble because of a mystery woman that causes him to betray his family. They will face trials like never before. And not to forget it includes everything that a fan looks for: a new face, old faces, twists, turns, amazing cars, nostalgia, and outrageous stunts.
Now coming back to the premiere, many celebrities and socialites were present at the red carpet event including Tapu Javeri, Faysal Qureshi, Ayaz Samo, Nadia Hussain, Ahad Raza Mir, Ali Gul Pir and many more.
So, if you are into cars and of course action then ‘The Fate of the Furious’ is a must watch. It is a fast paced thriller with some exciting and unbelievable scenes that will blow your minds away.
