They have been showcasing their beautiful creations on various local and international platforms for quite some time now and have made our nation proud. Yes, we are talking about our very own talented designers who create ensembles that are intricate yet gorgeous! And the good news is that recently, acclaimed designers Maheen Khan, Maheen Karim, Sana Safinaz, Nida Azwer, Wardah Saleem, Misha Lakhani and Delphi by Nida Tapal, exhibited their latest luxury pret collections in a multi-designer exhibition by Boulevard One at The Palace Downtown Hotel in Dubai. Our designers from Fashion Pakistan Council (FPC) showcased their fashionable wares at the exhibition where thousands of fashion enthusiasts from all over UAE were present.

This was Boulevard One's 12th Fashion and Lifestyle exhibition that aimed to provide a platform for designers to display their exquisite luxury pret wear. This exhibition was surely a unique event that gave fashion consumers a rare chance to buy designer wear reflecting the latest trends in Pakistani fashion.

This year also marked Fashion Pakistan Council's 10th Year Anniversary. Established in 2007, the local fashion fraternity's representative body was created by the designers, for the designers. The council has brought Pakistani Fashion on the global map, introduced the concept of Fashion Weeks, formalized business of fashion and has launched many world acclaimed local designers and talent in the industry. Fashion Pakistan pioneered the concept of Fashion Weeks in the country with the very first Fashion Pakistan Week, held in 2010. Since then, the Council has continually looked for new ways to support and bolster Pakistan's growing fashion industry.

Speaking about her participation at the multi designer exhibition Nida Azwer, CEO, Fashion Pakistan Council, said, "As a council we endeavour to take our designers across borders to participate in trade events to aid their businesses and we feel it is crucial for us to streamline and facilitate such missions. It is platforms like these that open up new doors for a lot of people who otherwise may not have the chance to get requisite exposure. We believe that it is our job to open such frontiers for designers in Pakistan, so they can grow their businesses and compete at a truly global stage like we have here in Dubai."

The duo behind the luxury pret exhibition, Sadaf M. Khan and Niti Modi, were also quite excited about their venture.

"We are always looking to bring out a great bunch of people together because at the end of the day consumers want a range to shop from," shared one of them.

We hope that more of such endeavours are held in the future too. Way to go girls!
