Focused, determined, and composed, are three words which best describe upcoming model, Munir Khan. He made his foray into the fashion industry when he was given his first break by Yousaf Bashir Qureshi. Later, he got his portfolio done from photographer Kamran Baig who made him comprehend the basics of fashion modelling, and soon he grabbed his first project with Zong. Working steadily since then, Munir has distinguished himself with his style and projects including Al-Karam, J., Cambridge, Gul Ahmed, Telenor, Jazz and more. The handsome model has walked for top designers namely HSY, Ismail Farid and Amir Adnan. Apart from his modelling career, Munir is also a successful Fitness Trainer.

Now, he plans to delve into acting and has decided to join NAPA to be able to carve his own niche as an actor. Let’s get to know the likes and dislikes of this young model…

What has been the most defining moment of your career, so far?

My first TVC for Zong that was shot at Khunjerab Pass. Besides the excitement I had for my first project, I also got to see and enjoy picturesque locale of Pakistan while working.

What do you consider as are your biggest asset?

My power of imagination.

Your biggest strength:

My mind. The way I think, conceive and perceive things.

A person you would like to dine out with:

Imran Khan.

Your worst nightmare?

Nothing as such but, I once had a very bad dream. I slipped and fell accidentally from a waterfall that was (above) 150 meters high. I fainted and when I gained consciousness, I found myself to be the only survivor. That was terrifying and I hope it never comes true.

What is your definition of love?

To put someone else’s needs before yours.

Something that you really want to get rid of?

My bad habit of smoking.

Something that you really like about yourself?

I’m determined, focused and if I aim to, I can continue working out till five hours.

Something or someone that you would like to forget:

I would really like to forget my ex.

Something that you would like to remember?

I don’t really like to dwell on the past as I’m more focused on building my present and future.

Any plans to tie the knot in the near future?

As soon as she says yes (ha ha).

What attracts you in a romantic partner?

Her fragrance, smile and eyes.

What do you do when you’re feeling low?

I take myself out for a long drive.

If you could choose another profession, who would you like to be?

An army officer or an air force pilot.

You don’t like people who are:

Too obsessed with themselves.

Your idea of romance:

Gazing into someone’s eyes.

What touches you the most?

When people trust me enough to share their secrets with me.

Do you have any regrets?

I have no regrets, as I want to learn from my mistakes to be able to make things better for the future.
