Feedback

Hi Ed,

‘No time to die’ is still not available to Pakistani fans, and, to add insult to injury, Us has not done a cover on the last Bond movie of Daniel Craig! I remember reading exciting cover stories on Bond girls, gadgets, etc. I was hoping to read something interesting in Us, but except for a brief mention in ‘The Green Room’, zilch. Ed, Us always did cover stories before every time there was a landmark for Harry Potter books also. So can you explain why you have ignored this movie I am sure all your young readers are yearning to watch?

Hi Ed,

I have to say that ‘The Eid Engagement and other Weddings’ has now become super interesting, and I start waiting for the next episode as soon as I finish the current one. The new twist in the story has made it really cool, and I am so glad that Iqra is not letting her past fame get to her head. Her grasp of the plot is wonderful and I like the way she is developing her characters. Keep it up, Iqra and Us!

Hello Ed,

I want to congratulate Team Pakistan for their T20 World Cup performance. Ed, I am proud of our players and must say that ‘all boys’ did very well. I am also proud of our Pakistani team fans who supported their team all along, and instead of booing them at the semifinal defeat like Indians, they appreciated how hard our team fought. I am sure all Us readers love our team, and wish them well with the series against Bangladesh! I was a bit disappointed not to read any story on our team and their performance by Nabeel Naqvi or Usama Rasheed, though!

Reflection

Narrated Aisha (R.A):

On the day when the sun Khasafat (eclipsed) Allah's Apostle (S.A.W) prayed; he stood up and said Takbir and recited a prolonged recitation, then he performed a prolonged bowing, then he raised his head and said, “Sami'a-l-lahu Lyman Hamidah,” and then remained standing and recited a prolonged recitation which was shorter than the first. Then he performed a prolonged bowing which was shorter than the first. Then he prostrated and prolonged the prostration and he did the same in the second Raka as in the first and then finished the prayer with Taslim. By that time the sun (eclipse) had cleared He addressed the people and said, “The sun and the moon are two of the signs of Allah; they do not eclipse (Yakhsifan) because of the death or the life (i.e. birth) of someone. So when you see them make haste for the prayer.”
