Silence, quiet, just for peace,
I took it all in just for your ease.
Seconds, minutes, hours and then days,
Spent in struggle to build a million ways.
The bubble was enlarging, beyond trust,
So I radiated back, before it could burst.

Tell me lies
Tell me some more
Put a veil on my blind eyes
In a vain attempt to ease my existence
Let me succumb to this darkness
That drowns my soul
A constant chaos and anguish
That I don't know how to let go
By Momina Hassan
A prisoner of thoughts, a demon of chaos
Drowning in the cradles of melancholy
Slipping through the cracks of your cold embrace
The city of sins is offish, and the lights down low
The hanging curtains put up quite a show
Shadows dance midst the empty halls
Lingering upon the shards of glass
Following a passage of nothingness
Fading into darkness, counting the days
Until this battle will remain
By Christina Rossetti
There is no time like Spring,
When life’s alive in everything,
Before new nestlings sing,
Before cleft swallows speed their journey back
Along the trackless track –
God guides their wing,
He spreads their table that they nothing lack, –
Before the daisy grows a common flower
Before the sun has power
To scorch the world up in his noontide hour…
By Sa'ad Nazeer
''The cafe looks chic''
She takes the cigarette
Which I just puffed
She looks at me
Smoking it
I stare at her
She figures it out
Something she detected in me
The night before
The rings of smoke
Coming out of her mouth
I smile.
