Pursukoon Karachi has announced to organized “Sheher-e-funn”, a two-day children’s festival on September 28 and 29, 2019. The festival is designed by a group of artists, designers, architects, educationists, writers and dramatists. With an aim to make Karachi city a better place, games, art and craft workshops, science activities, literary discussions at the festival will help educate young people and make them responsible citizens.
Previously, Pursukoon has organized events Baithak and Hathiyar Nahi Pyaar for the younger audiences.
Pursukoon is an initiative of Koel gallery and was created as a platform to support the artists’ community in Karachi. Their mission is to address the issue of violence and crime in the city through creative expression. The platform encourages artists, writers, photographers, musicians and performers to come together and become a collective voice against rampant weaponization, criminal activity and socio-political strife.
Masooma Rajput becomes the first girl to complete a Masters degree in Cancer Biology from Heidelberg University in Germany. She’s also been awarded an internship in cancer research at Harvard University.
