Dear Editor,

I read your latest issue (July27) and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the famous feuds’ quiz and got some answers correct as well. I never knew Shaam slammed Mawra Hocane after taking offense at her support for an anti-Pakistani movie and Meera said that Mahira Khan doesn’t know how to act at all until I read the article. I love how Sameen Amer gives the background about each answer.

Not only this, I appreciate that Us magazine has paid attention towards the growing water scarcity problem in Pakistan. The cover story titled ‘Pakistan without water’ in the July 27 issue must have got attention from the youth, like it did from me. It not only includes the main issue but also provides bits and pieces of the history of Pakistan which obviously made me and other regular readers of Us magazine aware of important facts. The picture at the end of the article about water conservation at home is a good way to make people aware of the easiest of possible ways of saving water.

I also enjoy reading ‘The Green Room’. It’s one page in the magazine in which you go to and are informed about all the latest celebrity matters. I especially like the ‘Celeb tweets’ ‘Out this week’ segments of this section.

Lastly, I would like to suggest something. As Imran Khan is going to become the prime minister of Pakistan, you should write a few articles about him. We know what a great cricketer he was, but some information about his political views would be welcome.

Reflection

Narrated by Abu Huraira (R.A)

Allah’s Apostle (S.A.W) said, “While a man was walking on a road. he became very thirsty. Then he came across a well, got down into it, drank (of its water) and then came out. Meanwhile he saw a dog panting and licking mud because of excessive thirst. The man said to himself “This dog is suffering from the same state of thirst as I did.” So he went down the well (again) and filled his shoe (with water) and held it in his mouth and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for that deed and forgave him.” The people asked, “O Allah’s Apostle! Is there a reward for us in serving the animals?” He said, “(Yes) There is a reward for serving any animate (living being).”
