Us is doing a great job. All its issues are so pleasant and nice to read. It recaptures our minds. Seriously it’s of great worth. My only suggestion is please have a graffiti section and try to add more articles to it. “The Green Room” should have new sections.

I am into creative writing and during this summer break, I wrote a lot of stuff on different topics. I want to know the type of articles that you would prefer to be in your magazine. I have read the box that is published on letters’ page, but it tells us only about the word count. Kindly walk me through the process.

Hi Aaira, You can mail us the write-ups that are related to youth. We strongly advise you to first read the magazine, as it will give you an idea about the type of articles that we publish.

Dear Editor,

Elections 2018 passed away without a serious article in Us. Since Us is a magazine for the youth, I believe it was your duty to educate the young voters about the election process. Many of my cousins voted in these elections for the first time and would have benefitted from a couple of good articles on the process of elections.

The quiz by Sameen Amer was great, but it was not on the process of voting or things a voter should understand before casting the vote.

One more thing: Etymology was an interesting and informative segment but you have discontinued it. Please ask Ali Suleman to re-start it.

Dear Ed,

Let me tell you what is wrong with Us. For one, its printing quality is going down and down! I feel that you should give it a complete makeover to do justice to the very good content that is lost to the reading public because of Us’ size. Pakistan has an active youth population of more than 50 percent. Please give the young people something they can relate to.

Allah’s Apostle (S.A.W) said thrice, “Shall I not inform you of the biggest of the great sins?” We said, “Yes, O Allah’s Apostle” He said, “To join partners in worship with Allah: to be undutiful to one’s parents.” The Prophet sat up after he had been reclining and added, “And I warn you against giving forged statement and a false witness; I warn you against giving a forged statement and a false witness.” The Prophet kept on saying that warning till we thought that he would not stop.
