Was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at age 15. Underwent chemotherapy to reach remission.
Graduated from the Annenberg School for Communication of the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in communications and French.
Gained recognition as a cast member on Saturday Night Live, appearing in the sketch comedy series from 2010 to 2017.
Has since appeared in the comedy series I Love That for You (2022) – which was loosely based on her experience as a survivor of childhood leukaemia – and films including Office Christmas Party (2016), Ibiza (2018), and Wander Darkly (2020).
Published the children’s book How Do You Care for a Very Sick Bear? in 2019.
