One Battle After Another (starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall) – action thriller, inspired by Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland; after an enemy resurfaces, a group of ex-revolutionaries reunite to rescue the daughter of one of their own.

The Strangers – Chapter 2 (starring Madelaine Petsch, Gabriel Basso, Ema Horvath) – horror, second instalment of the new trilogy; a couple’s vehicle breaks down, forcing them to take refuge in a remote lodging.

Eleanor the Great (starring June Squibb, Erin Kellyman, Jessica Hecht, Rita Zohar, Chiwetel Ejiofor) – drama; a 94-year-old woman (Squibb) strikes up an unlikely friendship with a 19-year-old student.

All of You (starring Brett Goldstein, Imogen Poots, Zawe Ashton, Steven Cree, Jenna Coleman) – sci-fi romantic drama; two close friends (Goldstein and Poots) have feelings for each other even after a test matches them with their supposed soulmates.

Dead of Winter (starring Emma Thompson, Judy Greer, Marc Menchaca, Laurel Marsden, Brían F. O’Byrne) – action thriller; a woman interrupts the kidnapping of a teenage girl in a remote location.
