What is your everyday make-up look?

I typically embrace a more natural appearance and don’t find myself relying heavily on makeup in my daily routine. I appreciate simplicity and an understated look.

How old were you when you started doing your makeup?

I was around 18 or 19 years old when I started to wear makeup.

When stepping out, do you wear makeup all the time?

I embrace the natural radiance of my skin. I wear sunblock when stepping out!

What is your skin-care routine?

Sunblock has truly been a game-changer for me, providing essential protection and ensuring my skin stays healthy. I've recently incorporated a vitamin C serum into my skincare regimen to enhance its effectiveness.

Any tips for college going girls?

For college girls, prioritise skincare by staying hydrated, using a lightweight moisturiser, applying sunscreen daily, and incorporating a gentle cleanser into your routine. These simple steps can help keep your skin refreshed.

What are your favourite perfumes?

Chanel Chance and Gucci Flora. I also love J. Perfumes. I think they have great scents.

What are your favourite brands in lipstick?

I prefer a lip tint and lip balm which I usually get from The Body Shop.

After coming back from shoots how do you remove the makeup and cleanse your skin?

I use a gentle makeup remover or micellar water; following up with a mild cleanser to thoroughly clean my skin. Then use a moisturiser or hydrating toner afterwards to replenish my skin’s moisture. Always remember, be gentle, especially around the eye area, to avoid irritation.

How do you manage hair from damaging after straightening and blow drying?

My hair is naturally straight, so I avoid using straighteners or any heat styling tools. Additionally, I indulge in a weekly oil treatment, enjoying a soothing massage from my mom every Sunday.

What do you do to keep your hair healthy?

I wash my hair with a sulfate free shampoo thrice a week. I condition my hair; get trimming every month to avoid split ends. Castor oil has done magic to my hair and also mixing it with aloe vera and onion juice brings shine to my hair.

What is your take on natural makeup or zero makeup?

The Zero makeup palette is ideal for those who prefer minimal makeup. I appreciate how it effortlessly achieves a natural look, consolidating all necessary makeup essentials into one palette, making life easy for people like me.

When it comes to cosmetics, which brand do you usually use?

Huda Beauty and locally I would say J.

What’s in your beauty bag?

I carry lip tint, mascara, eyeliner, lip oil, nude lip colour, eyebrow palette, and a nude eyeshadow palette in my beauty bag.

My eyeliner not being equal.

Do you go to salon regularly for your facials?

Yes, I go once a month and I prefer hydra facials.

I choose NABILA and Rashid for my hair and makeup services.

Where do you go for makeup shopping?

Sephora.

What does beauty mean to you?

To me, beauty transcends the surface; it's a radiant harmony of personality, confidence, and the luminosity of one’s inner soul. It’s the kindness that shines through, the strength found in authenticity, and the grace that comes from embracing individuality. True beauty, I believe, is a captivating symphony of self-love and genuine connections, creating a magnetic glow that goes far beyond appearances.
