How old were you when you started doing your makeup?

I was very young when I started doing my makeup because I idolised my mother who used to wear impeccable makeup.

I prefer not to wear makeup when I go out, however, my go to makeup is always a lip tint, concealer and mascara and I am done.

Do you use sunblock or any serums when you go to shoots?

Definitely cannot operate without sunblock. For shoot days, I always have hyaluronic acid serum and I apply it separately. Then, vitamin C is essential for your skin, it helps to prevent aging so this is what I do and then I put moisturiser on my face before going to sleep.

Your quick tips for school and college going girls:

Always wear sunblock during summers. Also, keep an umbrella, it really helps. Stay hydrated and just have fun.

M.A.C, Dior, Gucci and if have to choose a Pakistani brand then it would be matte lipsticks by Bonanza Satrangi. They are really good.

I use a mix of both. I do have a custom-made foundation - matching my skin colour, exactly. I don’t like any misbalance with my skin colour.

How do you cleanse your skin?

The first thing I do after coming back from shoot is to remove my makeup with Bioderma cleansing water. I double cleanse because single cleansing is not enough. Then, I apply coconut oil and remove my makeup. I feel like it is a good makeup remover. Then, I exfoliate my skin every three days. In addition, I apply moisturiser, a night cream, Vaseline, castor oil and vitamin E capsules for my eyelashes.

Hair gets damaged after straightening and blow drying - what do you do to keep your hair healthy?

I have started using extensions so that my natural hair do not get damaged. Oiling my hair and getting protein treatment also helps. I also take hair supplements.

What is your take on natural makeup or ‘zero’ makeup?

I think it is a new lifestyle. I am all for natural makeup as it enhances your features.
