None of these facts will keep Adele from smashing records as the year comes to an end.
Her first single off the new album, ‘Hello’ has surpassed the record set by her breakthrough hit, ‘Rolling in the Deep’. According to Billboard, the song is the third longest-running number one hit. The top slot belongs to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars who have been sitting pretty on top of charts with their single, ‘Uptown Funk’ for fourteen straight weeks. The second song is Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s ‘See You Again’ which made an appearance at the end of the last Fast and Furious film. And speaking of Adele, it has also been revealed by the singer-songwriter that she has given up on alcohol after her doctors showed concern about her vocal chords.
‘I am not allowed to drink as it dehydrates my vocal cords,” Adele told UK’s The Mirror in an interview.
