Actor and director Shaan Shahid’s much awaited movie Zarrar, which has been in the works for quite some time, is finally coming out this year. The first teaser of the film, which he has written and directed as well, came out earlier this week and packs a punch.
The almost 35-second teaser starts off with the words: “The color of sacrifice is red, the color of sacrifice is green, we are in a state of war, the war you don’t see.”
We are then introduced to veteran actor Nadeem Baig’s character, Major General Mujtaba. Clad in a black jacket and aviators, we hear Nadeem Baig saying that if you want peace then you should prepare for war. We also see glimpses of Shaan Shahid throwing some punches around and getting ready with weapons for some kind of war. While the official teaser doesn’t give away the storyline, it definitely leaves viewers mystified.
This is Shaan’s sixth directorial project; the actor previously directed Arth two years ago that featured Muhib Mirza, Humaima Malick, Uzma Hassan apart from Shaah.
For his forthcoming film, which is speculated to be one of the best action films with high-end action and VFX, Shaan has collaborated with cinematographer Timothy Hallam Wood.
Besides, Nadeem Baig and Shaan, Zarrar features Pinky Memsaab actress Kiran Malik and Nayyar Ejaz among others.
