Yasir Nawaz’s most recent cinematic outing, Wrong No 2 that made its way across cinema screens on Eid ul Fitr 2019, generated huge figures at the box office. The film stars Neelam Muneer and Sami Khan in key roles as well as Mehmood Aslam, Danish Nawaz, Sana Fakhar, Jawed Sheikh and director Yasir Nawaz in important characters.
The film is still having a decent run in cinemas nationwide and select shows are being scheduled during Eid ul Azha as well. Shows are scheduled at Cinepax Cinemas and other multiplexes across the country, including urban centres like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Sialkot and Gujranwala, etc. Wrong No 2 is a romantic comedy-drama that was released under the banner of Geo Films. By the end of last month (July), after eight weeks of the film’s release, Wrong No 2 had raked in about Rs. 197 million and those numbers were still on the rise.
