Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza’s social satire Load Wedding that stars Mehwish Hayat and Fahad Mustafa as protagonists is still making waves - ever since its release on Eid ul Fitr last year. Though it didn’t rule the local box office compared to other films that released simultaneously, it was well received and critically acclaimed.
The film recently made it to YouTube and is now available on the streaming site. The good news is that it generated over 1 million views in just two days of its release on YouTube. Director Nabeel Qureshi shared the news on his social media.
The film earlier made it to international film festivals such as the Jaipur International Film Festival (JiFF) and the 5th Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF) that took place earlier this year.
Aside from Mehwish and Fahad, the film features Faiza Hassan and Samina Ahmed in key roles.
