FDVM, who describe their music as one that isn’t divisive and carries “a positive vibe” have finished their Pakistan leg of their Southasia tour - which included a couple of private shows, an intimate show in Karachi (presented by Salt Arts) as well as performing at Solis Festival in Islamabad and Lahooti Melo’s fourth edition in Jamshoro.

Before leaving Pakistan, Florent Denecker & Victorien Mulliez, whose initials form the duo’s name ‘FDVM’, won many hearts and confessed that they hoped to come back in November this year if things work out.

In the meantime, what will they be doing? Speaking to Instep, FDVM reveal their plans for 2019 post the Southasia tour.

“Florent is going to France to play some shows; I’m on my way to Costa Rica and then we’re playing at Tomorrowland Winter, which is a big festival in France for a week. After that, we have a few shows here and there. Also, we’re planning to come back here, if it works out,” said Victorien.

As for their set-list, FDVM revealed that though they have a setlist pre-planned they have to adapt. “We change it live, basically.”

In an earlier conversation with Instep, FDVM’s Victorien also spoke of the Pakistan experience. “I know 13 days is not enough to describe Pakistan but you feel the energy of the place. And ultimately Florent will do the same.”

“The more we learn about others, the more we can share our gift,” added Florent.
