After releasing two animated short films from the public service campaign, Aagahi, SOC Films has recently launched the third animated short film.

The third short, a three-minute animated video, titled Know Your Nikahnama, sheds light on the important information that a woman should know before she signs the legal document, nikahnama.
With the aim of educating women about their legal rights in Pakistan, the third part of the Aagahi series explains the various sections of the nikahnama.
We live in a society where a majority of women are not fully aware of their rights - especially when it comes to marriage and this documentary rightfully highlights the rights that may be conferred to the bride via the nikahnama – for example the amount decided to be given as mehr, the right of divorce (talaq), and even the right to a predetermined monetary allowance the husband gives his wife every month, etc.
Renowned actress Aamina Sheikh has lent her voice to the series, which includes contact information for various help lines, counseling services, and legal support services available to people who may have questions about their nikahnama.
Aagahi is a series of 14 short animated films, produced by SOC Films that will cover topics such as the law, its interpretation and the safety that it provides to the victim. The first and second short films were released earlier this year. The first one aimed to educate women on how to file an FIR while the second part highlighted the issue of domestic violence.
