With Jawed Sheikh’s Wajood all set to open on Eid-ul-Fitr, the trailer of the film was recently launched at a star-studded event and features Danish Taimoor, Jawed Sheikh, Saeeda Imtiaz and Indian actor Aditi Singh.
The trailer, just like the teaser, doesn’t reveal much about the storyline of the film, but from the looks of it, the plot revolves around action, love, and revenge. And we see Danish Taimoor, who essays the role of a pilot, in different avatars, along with Jawed Sheikh who is possibly essaying the villain’s role.
The trailer shows how the protagonist Faizan’s (Danish Taimoor) life changes after he takes up a new job and how things unfold from there. Shot in the beautiful locations of Turkey and Pakistan, the camera work is clean.
We also see glimpses of Saeeda and Aditi Singh, but it is difficult to gauge their roles and what the film has in store for viewers.
According to Jawed Sheikh the movie is a complete entertainment package and promises it to be a romantic thriller of sorts. “It has love, it has revenge, it has everything,” he said in a statement.
Wajood marks Jawed Sheikh’s return as a director after a gap of almost a decade. While the film has an all-star cast including veterans such as Nadeem Baig, Shahid Hameed, Frieha Altaf and Ali Saleem, the music has been composed by Sahir Ali Bagga.
Wajood is set to hit theatres on Eid ul Fitr and will clash with 7 Din Mohabbat In, Azaadi and possibly Parwaaz Hai Junoon if the Air Force thriller is cleared for release. Let’s see how Wajood fares at the box office.
