The first look of upcoming movie, 7 Din Mohabbat In, starring superstar Mahira Khan and heartthrob Sheheryar Munawar, is out and it looks quite quirky. Produced by Dawn Films in partnership with IMGC Global Entertainment (Pvt.) Ltd, the poster reveals the first official look of the film’s lead character Tipu, essayed by Munawar. Dressed in a striped polo shirt, wearing glasses with a magnifying glass in tow, it does make a strong initial impression.
As for more details, the character of Tipu is said to be an introvert and an inexperienced young man who is hesitant when it comes to approaching women. With big dreams of finding the one true love of his life, he begins his pursuit for love and ultimately turns into the star that he always wanted to be.
Mahira Khan, who will be seen alongside Sheheryar in the upcoming romantic comedy, also took to Instagram to share this poster of their film and captioned it “My Tipu”.
7 Din Mohabbat In will be Mahira and Sheheryar’s second film together after Asim Raza’s Ho Mann Jahaan (2016). The two were also seen together this year in a Coca Cola commercial as they danced to the Coke Studio hit, ‘Tinak Dhin’.
7 Din Mohabbat In has a lot going for it. It has been directed by duo of Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi, whose debut directorial venture Zinda Bhaag (2013) became the first Pakistani film to be submitted for an Oscar consideration. The critically acclaimed film featured Naseeruddin Shah and also made its way to Netflix.
Though Meenu and Farjad’s second film, Jeewan Hathi (2016), a satirical take on morning shows, didn’t do as well as their debut, given their combined talent, we have hopes from their upcoming third film.
Written by Fasih Bari Khan, 7 Din marks Mira Sethi’s big screen debut and has an all-star cast that includes prolific names such as Amna Ilyas, Javed Sheikh, Hina Dilpazeer, Aamir Qureshi, Adnan Shah Tipu and Beo Zafar (who can be seen in the upcoming Asim Abbasi film Cake that is all set to release at the end of this month across Pakistan).
