The three-day Coca-Cola Food and Music Festival in Islamabad concluded yesterday, on December 10 and it was a haven for foodies as well as music fans.

The three-day Coca-Cola Food and Music Festival in Islamabad concluded yesterday, on December 10 and it was a haven for foodies as well as music fans.

Attendees witnessed chefs working their magic through cooking demonstrations along with other fun-filled activities. Besides different cuisines being offered at the fest, foodies also witnessed a stellar line-up of musicians from Coke Studio and other stars. The line-up of musicians included Rachel Viccaji, Waqar Ehsin, Waheed Khan, Sahara UK, Ali Sethi, Malaika Faisal, Quadrum, Nabeel Shaukat, Sahir Ali Bagga and Stereo Nation.

While talking to Instep about her Coca-Cola Food and Music Festival experience, Rachel Viccaji said, “I had a great time performing on Day 1. It’s a lovely effort to bring live music back to the public; people coming together to enjoy food and music. I hope there are many many more events like this.”

This is not all! Famous bhangra band, Sahara UK, especially flew to Islamabad for the fest. They performed popular songs such as ‘Billo Hai’, ‘Billo Ni Tera Laal Ghagra’ and the latest song from upcoming movie, Parchi, among others.

The festival in Islamabad attracted a crowd of more than 20,000 food enthusiasts from the capital, who thoroughly enjoyed delectable cuisines along with amazing live performances.
