So for Farooq’s upcoming cinematic venture, Parchi, Farooq found a fitting role for Butt: as a choreographer! There are very little things that Butt can’t do (we already knew that). The Balu Mahi star has dabbled with acting, written his own feature length film (Janaan) and wrote the script for Lux Style Awards this year as well. Now, we’re going to see his strengths as a choreographer.
Butt took to his Instagram account to make the announcement: “Officially part of the #Parchi family as the Director of Choreography! 2/3 songs (hoping there’s a third; everything depends on scheduling/finances) done in what was an INTENSE, challenging but hopefully rewarding experience! Hareem, Ali, Joey (Usman), Ahmed & Shafqi bhai: you were rockstars. Can’t wait for the world to see you kick major ass on the dance floor!
