Reports also suggest that Chopra is set to make a comedy show for an American television network that will be based on the life of Bollywood diva, the singular Madhuri Dixit.
According to Variety, Dixit will star in the upcoming comedy series and will also serve the role of an executive producer alongside her husband, Dr Sriram Nene for the untitled project. The screenwriter of the show, Sri Rao (Baar Baar Dekho, New York, Badmaash company) took to Twitter and shared a picture of himself with Dixit and Chopra to announce their collaboration for the project.
“Thrilled to finally announce my exciting new project with these two legends and icons,” he tweeted.Chopra’s upcoming show will be produced by the same firm – Mark Gordon Company – which is in charge of her debut TV series, Quantico.
On the acting front, Chopra is starring with Liam Hemsworth in Isn’t it romantic but it will be her third release; her second Hollywood film after Baywatch is called A Kid Like Jake and has already been shot. The film is scheduled to appear in 2018 and presently Chopra is also signed on to star in the third season of Quantico.
