The song is based on Anuskha Sharma’s character and SRK spoke about it at a press conference. “The song comes in a place, where it shows coming of age and a feeling of freedom for Anushka,” he revealed.
“As a matter of fact, the direction that Imtiaz had given us during the song, is basically a song about Anushka’s character flying free, and realizing there’s more to life than she has experienced. It’s like a flight she takes off with. Imtiaz would tell us again and again that it’s like being in a trance, so I think, that’s what it signifies in the film,” he concluded.
It has also been revealed that SRK will be a part of the video, even though initially the actor wasn’t planning on being part of the song. “I went on the set to meet him (Diplo),” shared SRK according to Pinkvilla. “But, he insisted on me being a part of the video, and I had to oblige. He showed me some swag moves, and I just copied him.”
