One of the most prestigious and longest running award ceremonies in the country, the Lux Style Awards is all set to return in smashing style this year. Having been around for more than a decade, the LSAs remain the only unbiased platform that acknowledges and celebrates Pakistani talent in glorious fashion and in that sense this year will be no different.

Returning with its 16th edition, the LSAs have announced that they are open to entries for submission. Show director and producer Frieha Altaf, announcing the news on social media, asked for submissions and posted a picture that contained details of the categories. She wrote: “It’s time for the event of the year! LSA 2017 announced! Send portfolios!”
“The Awards office of the Lux Style Awards is inviting professional and public to submit the best works of 2016 in order to be considered for a prestigious Lux Style Award nomination in the fields of Fashion, Film, Music and Television. Now in its sixteenth year, the Lux Style Awards are the only awards to recognize and celebrate the best in film, music, television and fashion and rewards the outstanding work achieved by industry professionals,” read the announcement.
There are 28 sub-categories in total under four major sections that include film, fashion, television and music. The last date for submissions is January 30, 2017. While last year’s ceremony gave us plenty of star-studded moments, we’re sure that the ceremony this year will be equally entertaining if not more.
