With a number of hit films and a diverse set of roles to his credit, Ranveer Singh has certainly grown into one of Indian cinema’s most compelling actors.

After the huge and unprecedented success of his last release, the award-winning Bajirao Mastani, Singh’s career is in an upward spiral mode. Having bagged Aditya Chopra’s directorial venture, Befikre, the actor is, according to reports, being roped in for Karan Johar’s next production.

According to DNA India, the two (Singh and Johar) are keen on working together and have been in talks since Singh’s return from Paris (where the actor was shooting for Befikre which is expected to release in December).

“It seems, the two have zoomed in on an intense love story which will be directed by one of Dharma’s directors,” the publication reported. “Everything, including the dates and fee, are in the process of being finalized. An announcement is expected in a couple of months.”

Meanwhile, earlier reports that Singh is starring in the Ram Lakhan remake, have turned out to be false. But that won’t be an issue for Singh given his next few films. Among them is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next Padmavti in which Singh will star alongside Bajirao Mastani and Ram Leela co-star Deepika Padukone, making this the third collaboration between the seasoned filmmaker and Singh.
