Lianna wins first Gold for Pakistan in South Asian Games
This is Pakistan’s first gold medal in the South Asian Games 2016. Pakistan also won a bronze in 4x100m freestyle quartet in the female relay

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani swimmer Lianna Catherine Swan won a gold medal in the women’s 200m breaststroke on Saturday at the 12th South Asian Games in Guwahati, India.
Swan completed the competition in 2:48.85. Hasanthi Nugawela (2:49.17) of Sri Lanka came second while Romana Akter (2:49.60) of Bangladesh finished third.
This is Pakistan’s first gold medal in the South Asian Games 2016.
Pakistan also won a bronze in 4x100m freestyle quartet in the female relay while India won gold and Sri Lanka bagged a silver.
