NEW DELHI: The National Security Advisor (NSA) of India, Ajit Doval has utterly refused annulment of Pakistan, Indian Foreign Secretary-level talks, scheduled on January 15 in Islamabad.
Talking to Indian News Agency via telephone on Monday, Ajit Doval refused that he had given an interview to Indian daily regarding cancellation of talks over Pathankot attack.
Ajit Doval said he speaks media almost every day, however, he does not remember giving any such interview. “I strongly deny that I made such a statement.”
Pakistan has confirmed that Pak-India Foreign Secretary talks will take place in Islamabad on January 15.
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry on Saturday informed the National Assembly that the foreign secretaries would discuss modalities of Comprehensive bilateral dialogues and its timeframe during the meeting in Islamabad.
As per the Joint Statement issued during the visit of Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to Pakistan, the comprehensive dialogue would include all outstanding issues including the Jammu & Kashmir dispute, the ministry informed the NA.
