Zimbabwe bowl against New Zealand in one-off T20I

HARARE: All-rounder George Worker made his New Zealand debut as the tourists lost the toss and were sent in to bat by Zimbabwe in Sunday´s one-off Twenty20 international at Harare Sports Club.

Worker was a late addition to the New Zealand squad for their tour of Zimbabwe and South Africa after Mitchell Santner was ruled out by a thumb injury, but was a worthy inclusion after emerging as the highest run-scorer in last season´s Ford Trophy.

Fast bowler Adam Milne returned to the New Zealand side for the first time since the World Cup game against West Indies in March.

Meanwhile Taurai Muzarabani was given his third Twenty20 international cap as he joined Chris Mpofu in Zimbabwe´s fast bowling ranks, and Prosper Utseya was preferred to offspinner John Nyumbu.
