JOHANNESBURG: Swashbuckling South African AB de Villiers struck the fastest century in one-day international cricket off just 31 balls in the second match against West Indies on Sunday.
De Villiers smashed 11 sixes and eight fours as be broke New Zealander Corey Anderson’s record of 36-balls.
De Villiers also broke the record for the fastest half century in the same match, taking 16 balls to reach the milestone.
