Vin Diesel unofficially shared a poster “Fast & Furious 8” movie on his Instagram account, hinting New York as the location for the next sequel of the famous movie series.
The Hollywood movie is expected to hit theaters across the globe in the summer of 2017, according to the famous film star.
The last sequel of the series, “Furious 7” was released in April this year and was a massive hit, doing business of over a $1.5 billion so far in its worldwide screening.
The series, based on high-action fast paced cars, pushes the boundaries of traditional action movie motifs and creates a world unto itself that is mainly a product of the incredibly effective casting of the ensemble.
The last movie of the series paid tribute to the late actor Paul Walker, who unfortunately died in a tragic car accident two years before, after filming for “Furious 7”.
Series director James Wan is expected to lead the production of the upcoming movie again.
