ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that the country would be free from money laundering if former president Pervez Musharraf had not given the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to the Sharif family in the Hudaibiya case.
The premier on a telephonic conversation with information minister Fawad Chaudhry held the former president responsible for money laundering not being eliminated from the country as the NRO given to the Sharif family affected the decision.
He added further that the NRO in Hudaibiya case was taken as example in other money laundering cases.
Furthermore, he adjured Chaudhry to uncover those misleading the country by publicizing the information.
