KARACHI: A minor was killed in the midst of a police fire exchange with a suspected criminal in Karachi on Friday.
According to reports, 12-year-old Sajjad became a target of a crossfire in Karachi’s Quaidabad area while another boy received injuries.
The two boys had been rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where Sajjad succumbed to his wounds while the other was said to be in a stable condition.
Sajjad’s body was handed to his heirs after a medical examination.
His body was brought back to Quaidabad where he was laid to rest.
On the other hand, it was revealed that two police officials had also sustained injuries along with the suspect identified as Sher Zaman who was shot on his leg and was arrested.
