Google dedicates special doodle in honour of Women's Day

Famed search engine Google is paying homage to women across the globe on account of International Women's Day that is celebrated worldwide today (March 8).

The doodle is based on 14 inspirational quotes in various languages by eminent women personalities including Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, German writer Emma Herwegh and Indian boxer Mary Kom.

The primary reason behind observing Women's Day is to advocate for equal rights an d opportunities to women and put an end to gender discrimination.

Women in countries around the world including Pakistan are taking to streets on this day to assert their importance in the society.
