Social messaging application WhatsApp is testing an advanced search feature that will provide ease to users as they search through chats for important documents or photos.
According to reports, the messaging application is presently busy working on the advanced search tool and has launched it for iOS users to test before it is introduced officially throughout.
Before getting rolled out globally to the 1.3 billion users the feature is being tested in the beta version which would allow users to search through photos, videos, GIFS, documents, audio files or links.
Currently the search option in the app allows users to pull out specific messages by entering key words in lengthy chats. However, the hassle will now be minimized owing to the new feature.
