ISLAMABAD: Former President of Pakistan and President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari has welcomed the visit of Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman to Pakistan.
In a statement, the former President has wished for further improvement in the Saudi-Pak relations.
“Saudi Arabia is a very creditable and respectable friend of our country and its people,” he said.
Asif Ali Zardari said that Pakistan’s relationship with Saudi Arabia is based on mutual respect and appreciation of efforts from both sides.
Saudi Arabia has been a friend in every situation, he and added that Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan in moments of need and will hopefully continue to do so.
He concluded by saying that the PPP and the Bhutto family welcome and value the Crown Prince’s visit.
