Big Bang Theory’s finale will be extremely emotional, says Johnny Galecki

He added, ‘I just hope whatever we’re doing in that last episode it justifies the characters all crying because I know the cast will be’. He hopes the script would allow for them to weep and act at the same time.

The longest US television show, Big Bang Theory is going to have its finale season next year. The star Johnny Galecki who plays  Leonard Hoffstader revealed that the cast is prepared to get very emotional while filming their final scenes, Metro.co.uk reports.

Johnny dismissed the rumors that there would be a spin-off without the character Sheldon Cooper which is played by Jim Parsons.

Speaking to News.com.au, the actor said: “The last episode is something that we've talked about for many, many years and there's many variations and options. He added, ‘I just hope whatever we’re doing in that last episode it justifies the characters all crying because I know the cast will be’. He hopes the script would allow for them to weep and act at the same time.

The cast is very emotional as their journey is about to end. Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny, admitted she was ‘crying for a week’ when she heard the news.

With the 12th season, Big Bang Theory marks as the longest-running U.S. television show. The cast includes Jim Parsons, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg, Melissa Rauch, Mayim Bialik and Kaley Cuoco.

"Our goal is to make a really strong, really funny season, and then also find a way to end it in a way that seems satisfying," he added. "It’s nice to actually have the time to do that," the producer Steve Holland told The Hollywood Reporter.
