The fifth annual Beard and Mustache Competition, held in Somerset, has brought in participants from all over the world, to flaunt their facial hair in eccentric fashion.
The competition, hosted by an independent facial hair club ‘The Wessex Beardsmen, at Club 94 in Yeovil showed an impressive cluster of men who put their facial hair on display.
With pictures flowing in on social media of debonair men with carefully styled hair has piqued the interest of many with participants flowing in from as far as USA to put on an ostentatious show of their mustaches and their beards.
President of The Wessex Beardsmen, Andy Teague stated: 'It's all good fun, nobody takes it particularly serious. It's a good, fun day out, for the men and also for their families. It takes a hell of a lot of work to maintain a beard - you've always got to make sure it's not getting caught on things.'
