DUBAI: Karachi Kings scored 149 runs for the loss of nine wickets as none of their batsmen could reach fifty against Quetta Gladiators in the second match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 here at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.
The main scorers for the Kings were South African Colin Ingram (41) and Pakistan’s Khurram Manzoor (35).
For Gladiators, Australian pace bowler Shane Watson claimed three wickets while young West Indian pacer Jofra Archer and Pakistan’s Anwar Ali took two wickets each.
Earlier, Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim won the toss and elected to bat in their first match of the event.
Today’s second match will be played between Lahore Qalandars and the winners of the inaugural match Multan Sultans at 9-00 pm at the same venue.
Multan Sultans, who are participating for the first time in the PSL, made an upset, defeating defending champions Peshawar Zalmi by seven wickets in the opening match played Thursday night in Dubai.
