17th Lux Style Awards: Humayun, Mahira declared best actors

LAHORE: ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ bagged four awards on its way home from the Lux Style Awards 2018, while ‘Verna’ starrer Mahira Khan went credited as the Best Actress.

Gearing up all anticipations for best contributions in the fancy fronts of Fashion, Films and Music; the 17th Lux Style Awards happened to Lahore Expo Centre Tuesday night.

The melodious night, taking 76 musicians on the orchestra, brought on stage Sahir Ali Bagga’s soulful qawwali while media personality Frieha Altaf’s anti-sexual harassment dialogue scored well her #MeinBhi campaign.

The announcements from the ‘Films’ catalogue was overall a bouquet of happy moments for the Punjab Nahi Jaungi as it got its grip on the Best Film, Best Actor (Humayun Saeed), Best Film Director (Nadeem Baig), and the Best Supporting Actress (Urwa Hocane) awards.
