LAHORE: The opening ceremony of the fifth Blind Cricket World Cup was held in Lahore where performances by noted singers energized the visiting teams of Nepal and Bangladesh.
Held at the Alhamra Cultural Complex, astonishing performances by school children won the hearts of spectators, while sufi performances whirled the crowd into a mystical trance.
Welcoming the players, Punjab Minister for Sports Jahangir Khanzada said that foreign teams will always find the doors of Pakistan open for them.
The visiting teams of Nepal and Bangladesh were exhibited the culture and traditions of Pakistan as well.
