ISLAMABAD: Kai Greene along with three other international bodybuilders arrived Lahore on late Friday to attend first bodybuilder expo being held on August 19 and 20 at Johar Town.
On his arrival, Kai Greene said that Pakistan is a peaceful country and he feels no danger here at all, adding that the people of Pakistan gave him warm welcome and great love he will always remember.
The athlete urged the other International bodybuilders to attend the event for promoting the bodybuilding and encourage the bodybuilders in Pakistan.
Arrival of international athletes in Pakistan is a good omen for the promotion of bodybuilding in the country and revival of other international sports.
Earlier, a ceremony, organized by Islamabad Bodybuilding Association in the honour of American International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) athlete, Kai Greene was held here at Islamabad Club.
"It is heartening that international sports' activities are returning to Pakistan”, Mayor Islamabad said at the reception.
Speaking on the occasion Kai, who hails from New York, Brooklyn said that he has come in Pakistan to inspire Pakistani athletes and bodybuilders.
Kai urged the Pakistani youth to take fitness seriously and work hard to excel at the international level.
"I'm glad and excited to be here in Pakistan. I am sure Pakistani youngsters have a lot of talent and during our visit they will get motivated," he added.
