BRIDGETOWN: Teenage leg-spinner Shadab Khan captured three vital wickets on his international debut as West Indies were restricted to 111 for eight here at the Kensington Oval on Sunday night.
The 18-year-old bowler, who displayed an impressive performance in the Pakistan Super League, finished with three for seven in four overs.
Sent into bat by Pakistan skipper Sarrfraz Ahmed, the West Indies began a disastrous start and their batsmen could not resist against the Pakistani bowlers.
Carlos Brathwaite top scored with 34 runs followed by Chadwick Walton who made 18.
Besides Shadab, Emad Wasim, Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz and Hasan Ali claimed one wicket each.
Shadab Khan has made his international debut for Pakistan while Kamran Akmal has returned for his first international after nearly three years.
For West Indies, Rovman Powell has made his T20I debut as Jason Mohammed and Jerome Taylor were dropped.
