LAHORE: A drive-by shooting incident in Lahore injured three police officers, two of whom were in critical condition. The incident took place on Tuesday.
According to police, the drive-by shooting incident took place near Lady Willingdon Hospital in Lahore. Three police officers were injured as a result of the shooting, as assailants managed to flee after targeting police officers.
The injured police officers were transferred to Lahore's Mayo Hospital, where they were offered medical treatment. All three police officers are posted at Ghaziabad CIA. A heavy contingent of police officials arrived outside Mayo Hospital where the officers were undergoing treatment and also at the place where the shooting took place.
Police further disclosed that the police officials were dressed in plain clothes and were returning home after performing their duty.
