Young doctors end strike after their demands accepted

LAHORE: The young doctors decided to end their week-long strike after their demands were accepted by the Punjab Government.
All the matters were resolved in a meeting between the Punjab Health Department and young doctors and now doctors will resume their duties in all the government hospitals of the province from Monday.

Under an agreement, doctors’ seats have been doubled and conditions of specialization have been taken back. Besides, principals will also be authorized for merit lists.
