SANTIAGO, CUBA: Thousands of Cubans lined up in the city to pay tribute to the legendary Fidel Castro, whose ashes were brought to the city on Sunday.

Fidel Castro was immensely loved by the Cubans when he was alive and the sentiments did not change after his demise. As the ashes of the Cuban communist revolutionary leader made its way across the city on Sunday, tens of thousands of people lined up to pay tribute to the defiant leader who overthrew a US-backed dictator to ensure a long-lasting dictatorship of his own.
