Bruce Willis was diagnosed with FTD in November 2022
Emma Heming Willis has shared a heartfelt message in honor of her husband Bruce Willis.
As World FTD Awareness Week continues, the 50-year-old model shared a sweet photo of Bruce on her Instagram handle and vowed not to let her husband's FTD diagnosis "go in vain."
For those unaware, the Hollywood star was diagnosed with FTD in November 2022.
“I can’t go through World FTD Awareness Week without talking about Bruce,” Emma captioned the post.
She further penned, “He is the driving force behind my advocacy. He has opened so many doors for me in this work, and I will continue to walk through them.”
“I will not let his diagnosis be in vain,” the entrepreneur continued. “I know how proud he would be to know that he is helping families living with FTD, other forms of dementia and their care partners be seen and heard.”
“In this next chapter of his life, Bruce continues to build on his legacy,” added Emma. “He is, and always will be, a f---ing legend. And I am so proud to be his wife.
In May, Emma appeared on TODAY, where she shared a brief update on how their family was navigating Bruce’s condition.
“You know, we’re doing well,” she said. “My husband is supported and loved, and we’re doing the best we can under the circumstances.”
