A Florida woman accused of shooting at Rihanna's Beverly Hills home has been indicted on attempted murder and other charges. She could face life in prison if convicted.

Prosecutors say the shooting happened on the afternoon of March 8.

They allege Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, 36, of Orlando, drove up to the home and fired an assault weapon at it several times. Rihanna, 38, was on the property at the time with her partner A$AP Rocky, 37, and their three children, including sons RZA, four, and Riot Rose, three, and one-year-old daughter Rocki Irish.

Several other people were there too, but no one was hit.

The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office announced the indictment Wednesday. Along with attempted murder, Ortiz is charged with 10 counts of assault with an assault weapon and three counts of shooting at an inhabited dwelling or camper.

She has pleaded not guilty. Her bail is set at $2.65 million, and she is due back in court October 29.

District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said it was "pure luck and not a matter of restraint that no one was killed or injured." He added that every person deserves to feel safe in and around their home.

According to legal documents, Rihanna and Rocky were in a trailer and the kids were in the nursery when the shots were fired. Rihanna told authorities she had received death threats on social media before, but most never seemed serious.

The Daily Mail reports Ortiz was arrested in 2023 on suspicion of domestic violence and battery. Two years earlier, she was taken into custody on suspicion of careless driving. She was also linked to a 2013 bankruptcy.
